Years later, an order for Brunei created a new need: to develop a system for securing the goal post to the ground, something we had not manufactured until then.

Up to that point, our work had focused on manufacturing the conical foam goal post and its outer cover. This new requirement led to a process of testing and development to achieve sufficient stability during play while, at the same time, avoiding a rigid connection between the post and the ground.

The solution came through the use of neodymium magnets and by separating the system into two independent elements: a base secured to the ground and a goal post connected to it by magnetic force.

In the summer of 2020, Santa María Polo Club allowed the new system to be tested during the final of the International Polo Tournament in Sotogrande.

That first experience in competition confirmed that the concept worked and allowed us to continue refining it under real playing conditions.

Later, using several sets of goal posts in competitions organized by Ayala Polo Club, we gained weeks of experience with installation, wind, maintenance and impacts during high-level matches.

This experience allowed us to continue adjusting the system until we achieved the balance we were looking for: a goal post that remains stable during play but can release from its base in the event of a sufficiently strong impact.

In 2022, PGPgoal magnetic polo goal posts were installed on Field 1 at Palermo during the Argentine Open Polo Championship.

For a product that had originated years earlier to solve a specific need in Sotogrande, reaching one of the most renowned venues in international polo marked an important milestone in its journey.

Since then, PGPgoal has continued its international expansion, reaching clubs and competitions in different countries while maintaining the same technical principle and evolving through accumulated experience.
